StoryToys delivers interactive comic book action for Android users with Power Rangers Dino Charge Rumble.
This riveting RPG fighting release covers the narrative elements of Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. The story is presented in an engaging 2D format while the gameplay itself takes place in rich 3D environments.
Players can choose to play as one of five different Power Rangers, and each one is equipped with distinct abilities. Combat takes place via turn-based mechanics, but the required input necessitates dexterous motor skills. Intricate flicks, swipes and taps are the key to victory. This format notably deviates from the hack-and-slash style that is traditionally utilized in the Super Sentai series.
Sledge is the primary bad guy in this game, and his featured henchmen include Sting Rage, Fury, Scrapper, Vivix and Ice Age. While solo battles are the main emphasis, some levels incorporate team-based dynamics. Furthermore, gamers can even control the Dino Megazord in later parts of the story.
There are 20 complete stages divided between seven unique chapters. Unfortunately, everything beyond Chapter 2 is locked for paying members only. With such a hefty file size, it seems unfair to make a sizable percentage of the game inaccessible. Still, diehard fans of the franchise will find the investment to be invaluable.
